Enjoy our slideshow from this super cool week-end!
Sunny weather, fresh air, green grass, red flowers and milky cowes for this product review with Fanny Foucrier from Roxy Winter Division.
Fanny presented us the new 07/08 board “Envi“. It’s a nice looking all mountain freestyle board for the ladies including features like the magnetraction edge concept and a 100% natural bamboo topsheet.
This board is Torah Bright’s favorite! She was riding it when she won the X-games! So it’s definitly a board for good riders who wnat to push their level and progress in freestyle.
Watch our video & pics for more details and appreciate sexy Fanny with her “envi”…
Special thanks to Elodie T. for her support
Intergirlactik is over and looking back it has been a great event!
It was our first contest partnership and we were stocked to see how the girls were going big – back 7s on the 15m gap for Claudia – on the perfectly shaped HO5 Snowpark.
The weather was nice, the vibes super good and it was also cool to be able to check out and test 07/08 boards from Allian, Forum, Roxy, Gnu, Lib Tech as well as Beyond bindings. Oh yeah, and the friendly drunk swiss from the Pinard crew were there, hunting down Serge…
Can’t wait for next year!! In the meanwhile check out our video of the finals!

A stop of the TTR Women’s Tour as a 3-star event, Intergirlactik will gather together the best women riders in the Freestyle Area of Les 7 Laux shaped by h.o.5. park and voted 2006 Best French Snowpark.
The list of confirmed riders is impressive and guarantees a hell of a show down: Conny Bleicher, 2007 ONEILL PRO SLOPESTYLE 3rd rank, Basa Stevulova, 2007 EU CHICKEN JAM BEST TRICK, Lisa Filzmoser, 2007 ONEILL EVOLUTION 2nd rank, Rita Comi, IT 2007 ONEILL PRO SLOPESTYLE WINNER, Julia Baumgartner, AUT 2007 PINKY JAM WINNER and many more!
More than a snowboard competition, the event is a festival about feminine alternative culture…A lot of different happenings will go on around the main TTR Intergirlactik Comp…
This coming week-end (March 31st, and April 1st) Central Camps present the the first edition of their last event the Goodie Lady Billabong Session.
As you can imagine the event is 100% for girls which doesn’t mean dudes don’t have to go to check out the action and the party scene!
The event will be held on the perfect Central park of Thyon. Saturday will be dedicated to the slopestyle contest and sunday an open photoshoot session will be organised.
Definitly good vibes, sunshine and laid back riding can be expected for this unique session!
Perfect spring conditions prevailed at Park City as the Slopestyle contest of the 3rd Annual Roxy Chicken Jam became the deciding TTR point-earning event for the women’s Champion title. With one of the most talented rider line-ups of the season, the best-of-4-runs jam session culminated in a 15-woman Final that proved a close-cut challenge for judges to call. After tough deliberation, Slopestyle victory finally went to accomplished rider Tara Dakides (USA) who delivered amongst her best runs a backflip over the kicker, backside rodeo to a clean backside 720, ending with a boardslide-to-fakie on the flat down flat. Jamie Anderson’s (USA) fluidity and impressive rail maneuvers throughout the course earned a second place finish, and take her back to the TTR World Nr 2 spot.
But it was Torah Bright’s clean mix of cab 540s and cab 720s that earned her a 3rd place podium result – and win enough TTR points to extend her Nr 1 lead over last season’s Tour winner, Cheryl Maas (NED) – and secure the 2nd Women’s TTR World Snowboard Tour Champion 06/07 crown.
Bright (AUS) joins recently crowned male Shaun White (USA) as the TTR World Tour Champions 06/07.
The Pinky Jam, a 2 star TTR event and the finals of the SOUL GANG TOUR – the first European amateur tour exclusively dedicated to girls – will take place in Chiesa si Valmalenco, Italy from March 23rd till 25th.
As TTR tradition, the winner will gain the access to an even more important competition supported by http://www.snowbroader.eu: the Intergirlactik, at Les 7 Laux (France) from April 4th to 8th.
To who doesn’t want to take part to the female snowboard & free ski contest, the Pinky Jam prescribes the only rule of the event: have fun! As at the 2006 edition, there will be free snowboard and free ski camps for all the girls, altitude barbeque party, downstream well-being centre, dinners full of outstanding typical food and wine of the Valtellina, a floral staff, dj’s live set and one of the season most longed for party in Saturday night! All that will take place at the Palù Park of Chiesa Val Malenco, which will exceptionally be re-shaped for the event! If you have lost the 2006 edition now you can join the italian style into a female event.

What have you ever wanted to ask Anne-Flore Marxer and never had the guts to?
Stuff like how is her season going, with who is she filming this year, how does her next year signature board looks like and feels, how does she dress up so cool and why is purple the hottest colour for goggles? All these questions are so overrated man.
Check out our video with Anne-Flore and get answers to questions that really – really – matter. pause. not!
Méribel played host to the first ever Sista Sessions on the 6th, 7th and 8th March.
The sun shone throughout both the coaching and competition days, and despite poor forecasts the girls came in big numbers.
On the first day the snowboarders received excellent coaching. With beginner girls trying the flat box and small kickers, many for the first time, they started on 50-50s and by the end of the day all got the boardslides down. The intermediate groups went off to do bigger obstacles such as the red kicker and the big rainbow rail. While the freestyle coaching was going on, the pros and more advanced riders ensured they got a few good shots for the cameras. A first session on the wall ride got everyone going and this led to another session on a roof just outside the park.

With all our love.
There’s not a day without a post on an up-coming contest! But today it’s a special one because it’s for the ladies!
Sista Sessions will take place in the Méribel Moon Park on March 6th – 9th 2007. It is the penultimate stop on the Soul Gang Tour – an all-new European freestyle tour for female riders organized by the founder of Intergirlactik, Julie Vergez. – and the winners will be invited to Pinky Jam in Italy (SGT finals) as well as Intergirlactik, a 3 star TTR event.
With up to €3000 worth of prizes up for grabs, a friendly open format, and Meribel’s lively après ski scene, there will be something to gain for everyone involved.
The competition will cater for all levels of rider and aims to attract the largest number of participants possible. On day 1 professional instructors from Alliance (Tignes) and Cab9 (Meribel) Snowboard Schools will be giving tuition to all levels and encourage girls to enter for day-2’s Slopestyle Jam. By working in close conjunction with the Moon Park – one of France’s premier snowparks – the course will offer a wide variety of girls’ specific obstacles (kickers, rails, boxes, hips and wall-ride). The jam session format and the range of hits will provide the best environment for girls to fully show off their skills.
Sista Sessions holds a unique appeal in that on day 3 the top amateur riders from each discipline will be invited on a backcountry photo shoot, guided by instructors and invited pros. Professional photographers and filmers will be present to capture the skills of the best 6 participants from the previous day in the outstanding terrain of the Méribel valley. Films and photographs of the shoot will be given to the winning girls.
Attending pro riders include Rita Comi, Maude Richon, Aurélie Garcin, Posy Dixon, Sabrina Cuzas, Conny Bleicher, Sarah Martinais and Camille Imbert, who will be there to compete, to inspire and to guide the other competitors.
Check out the program and the cool poster of the event!
When we asked Julie for a date, she told us that she would wear her black dress and high heels, just for us! We met her during the ISPO, she was not wearing the sexy dress she promised to, but she was sporting wonderful, trendy, glamour and sexy JEE VICE sunglasses!! And that was enough for us to fall in love… 😉
More seriously, we are proud to offer you this BrOADER[date] with the co-founder of JEE VICE.
Discover how it is like working for a small core brand dedicated to all young women who live their passion. Just by reading Julie’s word you can feel all her motivation and the pleasure this small team of people is getting by making their little JEE VICE baby grow every day! It’s hard work but it’s worth every penny!
Julie, at BrOADER we want to say big respect! And what about a “BrOADER” signature serie? 😉
So girls tell us, what do you think about this one uhu?
‘Style, Design and Performance’ is the three-word mantra for the company. By taking an artistic approach to the design, a BitchBoards snowboard is not just a board, but also a work of art. The use of modern and abstract photography, such as green smoke swirling in the air or smeared paint on a white palette, for the graphics immediately separates BitchBoards from the competition.
Elan Chicas is the best of Elan snowboards for girls. This specific program has everything needed to satisfy the ladies! Light technical freestyle boards with nice topsheet designs, super confortable boots with optional heating system, bling bling bindings. Enjoy Elan Chicas!
Don’t take it the wrong way!! This is not a sexist or macho trend we want to launch. 😉
Be sure that we love and respect all the girls on the following pics, and they give it back to us the best way with their beauty, fun & humor!!
But ya know after a few drinks you start sticking everybody…it was just like a game at this FUNK party on ISPO.
Big up to Maud and special thanks to Sarah!!!! They will understand!! 😉

Girls are special, so it’s normal that we give them a special treatment. In snowboarding it’s the same, in the past couple of seasons “girls only” contests have started to flourish all over Europe and adapt their set ups specially to push the progression of female snowboarding.
Promoting women riding everywhere in Europe is the objective of the Soul Gang Tour, a coalition formed last summer by some of the most popular European AM – Girls contests.
