One night in hell for Sebastien LouvetAfter crossing the Alps in 2004, and then the Nice – Chamonix treck in 2006, the French snowboarder Seb Louvet, is getting ready for a new challenge : Monetiers-les-Bains – La Grave in one night and one day…through the “Dôme des Ecrins” and “La Meije”!! If the weather is ok, it is planned for the 3rd and 4th may.

To prepare this trip which includes more than 6500m height, more than if you walk up 23 times to the 3rd floor of the Eiffel Tower at more than 2000m above the sea level, Seb made many trecks during the winter.
It’s better to be super trained to make 24 hours of non-stop rise and downhill in the middle of these mythical summits!
Equiped with approach skis for going uphill, Seb needs a light equipment on his back. He’s got a Rossignol setting : Works 162 snowboard, Works Carbon bindings and Revolve boots.

Read this, it’s important!

With the effects of Mother Nature’s imbalance far too obvious in the 2007 snow pack, the time has come throughout the snow sports industry to come together to educate and respond to the undeniable global warming crisis.

Always a leader and innovator in his sport, snowboarding legend and longtime Rossignol athlete Jeremy Jones has stepped forward to take a proactive stand, establishing a non-profit environmental initiative under the title “Protect Our Winters”, also known as “POW”.

2005…French resorts are invaded by Italian riders. Only a little village still resists to the invaders : the APO village. How are they able to fight away the assaults of the Italian legions? They have a secret weapon which allows them to tune their boards quicker and ride faster : the Magic Potion! 😉

Last season, APO launched a revolutionnary wax that they decided to call the Magic Potion. It’s a revolutionnary product in many ways : most important it’s an eco-friendly wax because it doesn’t use parafin or fluor additives like traditionnal waxes do; then it can also be used in all type of snow conditions; finally it’s super easy to apply on a clean base. You can definitly throw away the old iron you stole to your gran’ma!
