Waooooo! We’ve been positively surprised by this Italian snowboard brand that we had never heard about! STATIC is the little jewel we brought back from ISPO. It is incredible that they are still unknown outside Italy. Their 07/08 board range is composed of 12 models covering all programs – kids, park, all mountain, freeride, freestyle, women- designs are a little bit basic but go further and have a look at their bindings, boots and wear ranges! They are just incredible for a small brand. Bindings have original and sophisticated cosmetics. Boots have no particular technical features but got this incredible Italian style. Regarding the Outer Wear, Street Wear and Accessories, just remember that Italy is a leader in fashion trends !

In fact we were really impressed to discover a brand with such a wide range of products that we had never heard about.. 😉
But we don’t know anything about the background of Static, so we can give our opinion if it’s a ‘cool’ company or a ‘fake’ one…
Lucaparty, maybe you could tell us who/what is hiding behing Static.
Thanks guys

Trilogy Distribution Ltd
We are the distributors of Static Snowboards in North America and yes some of there stuff is made in China. but that doesn’t mean the quality of the products coming from China is bad. Everyone knows that it’s cheaper to producer your stuff in China.
Static’s top of the line boards are all hand made in Italy and there lower line boards are made in Austria.
I have been riding for 11 years and wearing Static Clothing, Outerwear, boots, bindings, and board now for two years. I love the stuff and that isn’t because I distribute the brand, I wouldn’t sell anything that I wouldn’t ride myself.
So as for Lucaparty maybe you had some bad things happen to you with Static, or maybe you could fill us all in why you think Static is a Loser company and that they copy Burton and Volcom.
Everyone that I have talked to who is now using Static gear here in North America says they are really impressed and love the stuff.
So if you have any other questions feel free to send me an email.
Thanks All

static snowboards is a company with very bad business manners. they order services like photos, use them and then forget to pay for them…. be carefull when you deal with them!!!!!

Here is a bit from an article/interview written by Portland Helmich with Jake Burton.
“Today, the company does business in more than 30 countries. Burton also has a Canadian subcontractor that produces its well-respected boards (there are 120 boards on the Burton line). Boots are made in China, and bindings are made in Italy. The retail cost of a Burton snowboard — not including boots or bindings — is $300 to $550.”
Lucaparty, know your own gear befor you start trashing others.
Here’s the link so you can read up a bit.

static cling
Howdy! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog.
Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about setting up my own but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Many thanks
