tac1.jpgThe conditions were not as good as yesterday in Oslo-Midtstuen, Norway for the finals of The Oakley Arctic Challenge. However all the riders rose to the occasion and put up a great show of hi-flying snowboarding.

At the end of the day, it was American Kevin Pearce who finished on top of the game with a double combo: the win and the lead in the TTR rankings!
With just a couple of TTR events left before the decisive US Open, KP seems to be on the right track…but we’ll have to wait and see. It promises to be a thrilling showdown!

Sadly Terje didn’t manage to pull out amazing amplitude tricks as he did yesterday and had to settle for 5th place in his home event. Anyway the 2007 TAC will be remembered for his 9.8m world record bs 360°. A record which, we believe, should stay undisputed for some time.

If you did not have the chance to witness the finals on location, you can see most of the action on freecaster.

Now it’s time for the Billabong World Jr Pro in Leysin, and Iouri Podladtchikov will be looking for a win if he wants to stay in the race for the TTR title. So stay tuned on http://www.snowbroader.eu!
